Catalina Ishtar presents an interdisciplinary project exploring the relationship between art, technology, and sustainability through an immersive experience. Developed with the support of the Ibermúsicas Research Grant, in collaboration with IAC and the Malmö Art Museum, this work reflects on the impact of urbanization on the natural environments of the Skåne region in Sweden.

The project integrates advanced sound processing and spectral analysis technology with field recordings of natural landscapes and urban noise pollution, creating compositions that contrast the purity of the natural world with the effects of urban growth. Complementing the auditory dimension, local aromas and interactive technological tools generate a multisensory experience that transforms the perception of space and environment.

This work serves as a platform for critical dialogue on sustainability and explores how contemporary artistic practice, combined with technology, can foster new connections between humanity and its surroundings.
