Malmö Gallery Weekend 2022: Open house at IAC

IAC is no ordinary showroom. In our daily work, we rarely meet an audience, but a house full of artists who develop, test, and produce innovative projects in the fields of art, music, theater and dance. This year’s Malmö Gallery Weekend is a unique opportunity to meet some of the artists and researchers at IAC as we open the doors to a wider audience.

You are invited to experience the research work by Helena Fernández-Cavada and Bertrand Chavarría-Aldrete, which is integrated in our Café/Research area and corridors. In the Black Room, Make Sound artist Laurits Jongejan presents his new sound piece, and in the VR room next door you can see a video installation by Dag Kewenter. In our artist studio, IASPIS artist Joe Kessler is showing his recent comics, and on Friday we are offering a performance evening in the Red Room with Therese Bülow, Zahra Moein, Kirstine Lindemann as well as a concert by Yasmine El Baramawy. Last but not least, don’t miss meeting selected artists at our artist talk on Saturday.
