Are you a professional actor or performance artist with a multilingual background? We invite you to take part in a unique workshop in Malmö that explores language, identity, and performance.
Who can apply
We are looking for professional actors and performance artists with multilingual backgrounds residing in one of the Nordic countries: Finland, Sweden, Iceland, Norway, Faroe Islands, Greenland, Åland.
When & where
- Application period: 30 September – 15 October 2025
- Results announced: early November 2025
- Workshop dates: 6–10 December 2025
- Location: Inter Arts Center, Malmö, Sweden
What we offer
- Participation fee: €250
- Travel and accommodation costs to Malmö
About the workshop
The workshop investigates the potential of multilingualism in performance:
- exploring both its challenges and creative possibilities
- activating the “linguistic baggage” each artist carries
- experimenting through language portraits and physical explorations combining movement and speech
This workshop is part of the Breaking the Multilingual Silence in the Nordic Performing Arts seminar, organized by Post Theatre Collective in collaboration with Inter Arts Center, and supported by Nordic Culture Point.
