This project is a user study of an upcoming Virtual Reality work that combines artistic development with scientific methodology. The work is based on the Knowledge Horizon Trajectory model (KHT) – a framework for structuring knowledge development in the intersection between art and technology.

The starting point is the physical installation Skopéin: a videoprojection created for a church space in Karlsruhe. The project examines how Skopéin can be transformed into a VR format without losing its artistic intentionality. At the same time, with scientific rigor, it analyzes the transition between physical and virtual spaces in order to articulate and specify the qualities of experience for an intended visitor.
