PhD candidate Iury Salustiano Trojaborg presents and defends her ongoing doctoral work in artistic research in theatre on October 21.

The doctoral studies are conducted at Malmö Theatre Academy but also within the framework of Lund University's Graduate School Agenda 2030.

Title: On Ancestrality and Regeneration: Performing Decolonial Journeys

Opponent: Oda-Kange Midtvåge Diallo, PhD, Researcher in Black Studies, Gender, and Art at University of Copenhagen.


As part of the seminar, Iury will present the mini-performance "Encruzilhada", inspired by the readings of Luiz Rufino's "Pedagogia das Encruzilhadas" (Pedagogy of the Crossroads)" and her recent understanding of nature as a kin matter through the readings of Gabriel Alonso and Yuri Tuma from the Institute of PostNatural Studies in Madrid, Spain.
