IAC has the great pleasure to announce that it has been granted SEK 250,000 by Sten K Johnson for the workshop series "Spatial Audio Workshop" which is planned to take place in 2024. The grant will be awarded at a ceremony on 20 June 2023 at the School of Economics and Management in Lund.

With the funds granted, IAC wishes to implement a workshop series entitled "Spatial Audio Workshop". The workshop series, which focuses on spatial audio, combines theoretical, technical and artistic elements, and includes innovative elements in the form of construction and assembly of own equipment.

The project aims to stimulate artists' creative possibilities and skills in the field of spatial sound, a field that has developed strongly in recent times and is now creating new conditions for everything from art installations to immersive theatre and concerts.

The series will be led by Sebastian Hastrup (lecturer in media technology, musician and sound engineer) and Tim Bishop (artist and sound designer) in consultation with the IAC director and artistic coordinators.

Stay tuned!
