A group exhibition and seminar at IAC as the final event of the “Artists in conversation with ESS (residency) programme”, showcasing some of the output from all the artists and scholars who have collaborated in this programme. The opening event is open to the public and will include a short introduction and an artist-guided tour of the exhibition.
The seminar will focus on the process of the collaboration between all artists and scientists, with time for each collaboration to explain and answer questions on their work. We will reflect on future perspectives and how to further develop the field of arts and science. Lunch and the opportunity to explore the full exhibition of their work is included.

The residency is a collaboration between Wisdome/Malmö Museer, the European Spallation Source (ESS) and Inter Arts Center at Lund University.
ESS is a joint European research facility currently being built in Lund. The facility is comparable to a giant microscope where neutrons are used to analyse samples at the atomic and molecular level.
The residency is made possible by the European Regional Development Fund through the Wisdome Innovation Project including the following partners: the City of Malmö, Lund University, Altitude Meetings AB, Malmö University, the European Spallation Source (ESS) and Game Habitat Southern Sweden.
