Make Sound residencies selected!
Sandra Boss, SØNTH (in collaboration with Crush Strings collective & Cecilie Sadolin), Goodiepal
approved make sound residencies in april.
At deadline 1 April 2022, Make Sound received many interesting applications for a residency at IAC. Three projects have now been selected. Congratulations to Sandra Boss, SØNTH (in collaboration with Crush Strings collective & Cecilie Sadolin) and Goodiepal!
Sandra Boss, a Danish-based composer and performer in the field of instrumental music and electronics, will develop ‘Mother Soldier’, a performative and musical work written for percussion ensemble. The collaboration between the two feminist, Copenhagen-based collectives, SØNTH and Crush String collective and the Danish sound artist Cecilie Sadolin, will explore the encounter between acoustic strings and electronics in the form of improvised live performances. Goodiepal and Bananskolen will create audio tracks in exchange with the Malmö sound and music scene and invite to workshops and concerts. Further information on the chosen artists will be published soon.
Make Sound is a residency programme in collaboration with the Danish Composers’ Society. Danish composers and sound based artists work at IAC with experimental music and/or sound based art.
