While an increasing number of countries are shutting down around us, Sweden tries to postpone the shutdown and keep the wheels of society spinning a bit longer. But things are far from normal around here. At IAC most studios are empty right now and all public events have been cancelled until summer. This sadly means that there will be no Intonal Festival, no Acousmatic Lab residencies, courses or concerts, no weekly breakfast gatherings and no international residents just to mention a few of the changes.
But IAC is open for individual work in our studios and project spaces for students, teachers and PhDs at the Faculty of Fine and Performing Art until new directives are formulated from the university. At the moment we can’t offer any hands-on supervision or technical assistance in the same manner as we normally do. If you want to work here, contact us first in order to plan and prepare the work in a way that minimize the risks of spreading the virus.
This unfortunately also means that we from March 23rd and onwards can’t facilitate or house any residencies or collaborations with artists, researchers and partners not directly associated with Lund University. This is a measure taken to protect both our own staff, colleagues and you.
We hope for your understanding in these tough times.
