Kokong is an immersive and participant-driven performing arts experience, where participants are wrapped, bound and gently suspended in responsive smart textiles. Through this act of being wrapped, participants engage with the tactile and communicative properties of the textiles, experiencing a unique physical dialogue between fabric and body, while becoming part of a sculptural creation.

Kokong's overarching themes are about search, trust and cohesion: the trust between the organic body and the technological textile, between participant and performer, between bodily sensation and mental perception. Rather than exploring dichotomies or oppositions, Kokong focuses on the fragile moment where trust is established, and cohesion emerges – both physically and emotionally.

Receptor consists of Amanda Monceau, Ilkka Häikiö and Tikken Tage. Kokong is being produced in collaboration with choreographer Rumiko Otsuka.
