Wisdome v0.7 - a fictional visualization of the suggested potential of civic agency relating to the proposed function of a dome shaped space for visualization.

Abstract form created digitally. Illustration.

“Welcome to a meet up with Malmö stad’s strategic planning group behind Wisdome! Make your voice heard in relation to the process of developing a visualization dome for the citizens of Malmö. We need your input!”

Due to chance, luck, some kind of intervention, or cosmic faith our project came to find itself interested in a building named Wisdome. We tried to make a game in and for this dome at the Technichal Museum in Malmö but getting access to it proved to be a game in itself.

In the process of activating a space that presented itself as a place that superseded limitations, as it more than anything hoped to visualize itself and everything, of course we never gained access. Instead, we found ourselves idealizing the building’s promises and began working through the very mechanisms that hindered our initial access, namely local government bureaucracy. In an age where the image of us being in the dome means more than actually being in the dome, we got lost in metafictive layers trying to visualize a space for visualization we could not enter.
