’Carminic tensor’ is a study of the cochineal red pigment from Oaxaca, Mexico in a set of 292 gradings based on Étude IV for guitar by Heitor Villa-Lobos. The exhibition is part of the PhD research project ‘Plastic Extension of Music’ by classical guitarist Bertrand Chavarría-Aldrete at the Malmö Academy of Music, Lund University.
