Seminar on Research Ethics

Welcome to the seminars on research and external research funding! We will meet once a month throughout the fall for knowledge sharing, strategic discussions, and to explore new opportunities for collaboration and development.

In this seminar, we will explore the ethical dimensions of research, particularly in artistic research, and discuss practical strategies for managing ethical challenges and upholding ethical standards. Our invited speaker is Maria Hellström Reimer, professor in design in theory and practice at K3 (MAU) and scientific advisor with special responsibility for Artistic Research at Vetenskapsrådet (The Swedish Research Council). Her introduction will be followed by discussions and a workshop where we will look at granted applications from VR and examine their ethical reasoning.
