cts and explore new forms of collaboration. The works range from drawings
and conceptual investigations to video works and staged environments and w
ere mainly created by former students from Malmö Art Academy (Frederikke

rederikke Jul Vedelsby / Hungry Eyes / Kent Olofsson / Mariella Otto &amp\
; Gabriele de Seta / Ana RebordãoRead more about the participating artist
s on the Gallery Weekend project page.Frederikke Jul Vedelsby is a visual
artist working with drawing\, text\, and time-based media. In the work I m
ust see more of you or I will be quite sad\, a blind singer\, a retired ch
ildcare worker\, and a poet organizing flea markets appear among drawings
 made with oil\, beeswax\, and pigment. In her intuitive\, material-based a
pproach\, presence and relationships are central. Her drawings function as
visual scripts\, inspired by the bodies and gestures that populate her fi
lms. Care and absurdity are interwoven in works that move close to somethi
ng known\, yet invite new ways of seeing.Hungry Eyes is a Danish–Swedish
performance collective founded by Theatre Academy alumni Dina Viksten Abr
ahamson\, Ida Østman\, Mie Kristensen and Olivia Klang. At IAC\, they pre
sent their second work Immanuel\, Immanuel! – a conceptual exploration o
f the choir as form and method. A choir without choral singing\, an essayi
stic\, hopeful and physical choir\, an orchestra that spills out piece aft
er piece. With voice\, body\, text and rhythm\, the group shapes a collect
ive expression that blurs the line between performance\, concert and ritua
 l.”ZONA – Music at the Threshold”&nbsp\;is a one-hour suite of 12 pi
eces of electroacoustic music&nbsp\;by Kent Olofsson\, presented as a bina
ural listening experience. The work was&nbsp\;developed and composed withi
 n the framework of&nbsp\;the&nbsp\;artistic project&nbsp\;”Zonen”&nbsp
 \;2021-24\, a large-scale project led&nbsp\;and developed by artist\, dire
ctor and writer Nina Jeppsson and composer Kent Olofsson\,&nbsp\;resulting
  in a feature film\, musical works\, and stage performance.&nbsp\;Mariella
Otto (visual artist) and Gabriele de Seta (researcher) present Diviner [B
]\, a collaborative video project which elaborate on the black-and-white i
mage as a visual model of code and binary systems. Drawing connections bet
ween religious\, scientific and technological narratives\, by working with
a breed of speckled hens [manipulated] and the generated image\, they exp
lore parallels between artificial intelligence and divination – mirrorin
g human desires of control and their interplay with chance. The accompanyi
ng book [A]\, serves both a prompt for the audio-visual\, and a documentat
ion of the project.Ana Rebordão creates staged environments in which she
always plays the central figure\, shifting between roles. Her latest piece
\, Sometimes it ends with a kiss\, reflects on power relations within fami
ly structures. Through absurd\, enigmatic performances\, she evokes a sens
e of trauma and gives a sharp voice to silent female characters. The work
shows women speaking to themselves beyond the noise of the world\, as a ga
me screen interrupts the stillness. Since 2016\, Rebordão has collaborate
d regularly with composer and researcher Kent Olofsson at IAC.&nbsp\;\n\nM
