Study visit to CREATE at Aalborg University Copenhagen

On 2 June, IAC staff carried out a study visit to CREATE – the Department of Architecture, Design and Media Technology at Aalborg University Copenhagen – for an inspiring exchange. We had the great pleasure of meeting Henrik Schønau-Fog, Deputy Head of Department, and Ali Adjorlu, Assistant Professor of Media Technology, who generously introduced us to the department’s work and facilities. The visit included tours of advanced environments such as the Multisensory Lab, Lighting Design Lab, Me-Ga, SMILE Lab, Augmented Cognition Lab, and ViZARTS.

CREATE’s interdisciplinary approach, combining architecture, design, and media technology, closely aligns with IAC’s focus on art, research, and technology. The visit highlighted strong potential for collaboration in areas such as immersive technologies, research exchange, and public engagement.
