GSTL is a spatial sound art research project and exhibition that seeks to engage an audience in understanding their perceptual experiences. The listener needs to move in space to understand the different musical compositions placed within a hemisphere of loudspeakers, or the composition stands as chaos. GSTL is not a singular performance of spatial music, but many, where the audience is asked to engage with their perceptual experiences. The audience is making the music they move in as their perception determines the media around them.
The residency will conclude with a public presentation. Check the public events for time and place!
