Music Research Today 2020

June 10–12, 2020

The nineteenth Swedish Conference on Music Research. The 2020 conference will be held at Lund University’s Musicology Department (Department of Arts and Cultural Sciences), as well as the Malmö Academy of Music, the Inter Arts Center and the Odeum. The conference welcomes researchers, doctoral students, and other students within the music field.

This year’s confirmed keynote speaker is: Professor Fredrik Ullén, Karolinska Institutet

Music Research Today 2020 is arranged in collaboration between the Swedish Society for Music Research (SSM) and the above-named partners at Lund University.

Call for papers This year’s focus Music Research Today 2020 welcomes contributions from all music-related research within musicology, music education, artistic research in music, music theory, music therapy, music psychology and other disciplines. The theme this year is open.

Language The main languages of the conference are Swedish and English. Presentations can also be made in Danish and Norwegian.
